No Attorney-Client Relationship
Your use of the Sites, including any contact form, telephone call, email, or social media message, does not create an attorney-client relationship between you and Haase Law PLLC. Only a written engagement agreement signed by both you and the firm will create an attorney-client relationship. Please do not send confidential or time-sensitive information through the Sites or any unencrypted channel until such an engagement agreement is in place.

By submitting any Submission, you grant Haase Law PLLC an irrevocable, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, reproduce, modify, and distribute the Submission for any purpose consistent with these Terms and applicable law.

Disclaimer of Warranties and Limitation of Liability
THE SITES AND ALL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS, WITH ALL FAULTS, AND WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, HAASE LAW PLLC DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
IN NO EVENT SHALL HAASE LAW PLLC BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SITES. State Laws Vary — Notice Regarding Jurisdictional Differences
Haase Law PLLC is licensed to practice law in the State of North Carolina. The firm’s attorneys are also admitted in the State of Georgia and before the United States Supreme Court and the United States District Court for the Middle District of North Carolina. Laws differ significantly between jurisdictions. Statutes of limitations — the deadlines for filing a lawsuit — vary by state and by the type of claim, and missing a deadline may permanently bar your claim. Do not rely on information from the Sites for any jurisdiction other than North Carolina without first consulting an attorney licensed in that jurisdiction.
Legal and Ethical Requirements
The principal office of Haase Law PLLC is 288 East St., Ste. 1001-F2, Pittsboro, NC 27312. Eric Haase is the responsible attorney for advertising under North Carolina Rules of Professional Conduct 7.1–7.3.
State Advertising Disclosures (North Carolina)
Attorney Advertising. The Sites are advertising under the North Carolina Rules of Professional Conduct. Hiring a lawyer is an important decision that should not be based solely on advertisements. Before you decide, you should consider the attorney’s qualifications and experience and discuss your matter in detail with a qualified attorney.
Contingent Fees. Many personal injury matters are handled on a contingent fee basis, meaning the client pays no attorney fees unless a recovery is obtained. The client remains responsible for case costs and expenses, which are typically deducted from any recovery. Contingent fees are not permitted in all types of cases. Fee arrangements are determined by written engagement agreement.
Past Results. Past results do not guarantee a similar outcome in any future matter. Every case depends on its own facts and applicable law.
Co-Counsel and Referral Arrangements
In the course of representing a client, Haase Law PLLC may, at its sole discretion, associate with or refer a matter to other qualified attorneys or law firms as co-counsel, including attorneys licensed in other jurisdictions. Haase Law PLLC enters into such co-counsel arrangements when it determines that doing so will serve the client’s interests — for example, to bring focused expertise to bear on a particular issue, to leverage additional resources, or to handle matters in jurisdictions where Haase Law PLLC is not licensed.
No additional cost to the client. Where Haase Law PLLC associates with co-counsel on a contingent-fee matter, any division of the attorney fees between Haase Law PLLC and co-counsel is made from the single contingent fee paid out of the client’s recovery. The client does not pay more because co-counsel is involved. The total attorney fees remain the same regardless of how many firms participate in representing the client.
Joint responsibility. When Haase Law PLLC and a co-counsel firm associate on a matter, each firm assumes joint responsibility for the representation, consistent with North Carolina Rules of Professional Conduct 1.5(e). The client will be informed in writing of the co-counsel arrangement and will be asked to consent in writing before any fee division is effective.
If you are a client of Haase Law PLLC and have questions about any co-counsel arrangement in your matter, please contact the firm directly at info@pittsborolawyer.com or 866-4HAASELAW (866-442-2735).
Release and Indemnification
You hereby release Haase Law PLLC and its attorneys, employees, agents, and affiliates (collectively, the “Firm Parties”) from any and all claims, liabilities, losses, or damages arising out of or related to your use of the Sites, any Submission, or any violation of these Terms. You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Firm Parties from any such claim, including reasonable attorneys’ fees.
Dispute Resolution; Arbitration
Informal Resolution. Before filing any claim arising out of or related to the Sites, you agree to first attempt to resolve the claim informally by sending written notice to Haase Law PLLC at info@pittsborolawyer.com describing the dispute, and by negotiating in good faith for at least forty-five (45) days after the notice is received.
Binding Arbitration. If the dispute cannot be resolved informally, any remaining claim shall be resolved by binding individual arbitration before a single arbitrator under the then-current rules of the American Arbitration Association. The arbitration shall take place in Chatham County, North Carolina, or at such other location as the parties mutually agree. Judgment on the award may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction.
Governing Law; Forum
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Subject to the arbitration clause above, exclusive jurisdiction and venue for any action not subject to arbitration shall lie in the state or federal courts located in Chatham County, North Carolina, and each party irrevocably submits to the jurisdiction of those courts and waives trial by jury.
No Class Claims
NO CLASS, COLLECTIVE, OR REPRESENTATIVE ARBITRATION OR COURT PROCEEDINGS SHALL BE PERMITTED. You agree that any claim shall be brought solely in your individual capacity.
Timely Filing of Claims
ANY CLAIM OR CAUSE OF ACTION ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SITES MUST BE FILED WITHIN ONE (1) YEAR AFTER THE CLAIM OR CAUSE OF ACTION ACCRUED. OTHERWISE, SUCH CLAIM OR CAUSE OF ACTION IS PERMANENTLY BARRED.
Entire Agreement; Severability
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Haase Law PLLC with respect to the Sites and supersede any prior or contemporaneous understandings. If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
